Kevin, its easy to fit. You remove the engine top cover (I found it easier to udon the air filter box and move it a little out of the way) then at the end of the common fuel rail you see a plug, this is put into the chip loom then the other end goes into where the original plug was, then the chip box plugs into the new loom, easy as that in fact easier than I described! Then you put the chip box with an included cable tie to secure it to the body (I did it just behind the air filter box)you then put the top cover back on and thats it. You can alter the chip settings but I left mine at factory set and it worked a treat. Full description in the excellent manual.
I am happy to show you how to do it I live in Tamworth Staffs just off J10 M42

it comes ready to go plug and play, but you can adjust the settings manually to suit what you want, I left mine as it came out of the box, seemed spot on to me

I can only speak as I find and I do agree the torque difference is most noticeable, in fact with the racechip fitted the car flew if I was heavy footed, even light footed she moved very quickly. The nice thing is there is a blanking plug which in a few seconds puts the car back to normal and that's when you notice the difference. I would recommend them as long it is a reputable manufacturer like Race Chip. I have sold mine now and it should be landing on Kevin's door tomorrow, cost new was £200 as it is the pro 2 model but I think the pro 1 would have not been much different, mpg was up and so was low down torque, 50 to 70 mph much better and easy to put on, take off for servicing so the dealer does not notice whilst under warranty The insurance wasnt too bad about £20 added to the yearly policy amount. I would suggest you invest in one and enjoy, by the way I never altered it from factory settings, I found it worked great as it was.
