2.2 Diesel does not start HOT

Help!
My 2011 2.2 Diesel has been through 3 shops and no one knows the problem. It started not starting cold an hot but once started it could not idle. Present status:New fuel filters, new high pressure fuel pump and new rail fuel pressure sensor. Now it starts cold no problem, idles fine and runs like a rocket. Problem it refuses to start with a HOT engine. Hot it takes 8-10 cranks and a lot of throttle to get the engine to life. Any clues as to what stops the engine starting hot? £2000 invested without a fix :-)

Your problem sounds to me possibly your EGR valve

Welcome to the forum. As a matter of interest, what make and grade of fuel do you use and have you owned the vehicle for long? I ask because premium fuels burn cleaner and with greater efficiency.
