Hi all I am just letting you all know about what fuse you can piggy back off to power up other equipment which powers up via ignition switch in drivers footwell my model is 2012 se nav pics below thanks to imgur free app    |

Nice one BJS and real handy to know. How come you can post pictures on the site but I can't? Is that because I'm a newbie and still on probation? 
Just noticed if I click on Reply instead of Quick Reply i get the toolbar option but only from a web source so do you have to use an image hosting service?

I put up a link to this thread on the other board but the poster is looking for a live feed without the ignition on. Are there any such feeds on the internal fusebox BJS?

But I would say possibly not may have to be off the battery but in doing so will have to be fused to protect cable rating re cable run
As I think all electrical equipment shuts down after a period of time plus the alarm system is voltage sensitive
if equipment is going to be powered up permanently then there is always battery drain and over a period of time battery will not hold full charge causing problems with stop start
I would advise against running a permanent live into the cab area
poss radio but I think that shuts down as well once vehicle is locked
