Hi all hope everyone is well and prepared for a cold winter ❄️ 😱
Went to my car this morning and had a problem trying to start, so out come the code reader and have got code p0672. What is cylinder #2 glow plug I was just wondering if anyone has changed one there self on there Antara as the plugs are on the back side of the engine bay want to kno if it would be worth me doing it or giving it to a garage?
cheers

Pity you didn't have a better OBDII reader which could have given you the symptom byte code following the fault code and narrowed it down a little.
You'd have to remove the HP fuel common rail and the EGR cooler as well as various sensors and connectors to gain access so if you know your way around a diesel engine you should have a go otherwise take it to a garage. It would make sense to check the four of them while you were at it. I should point out there's a fair chance of the tip of at least one of the glows breaking off when you try to remove it so it might well be better to entrust the job to someone with previous experience.

Hi victor i have a good one icarsoft can do all the parking brake etc.
It’s to do with the circuit to cylinder 2 glow plug. But before checking no wire breaks etc it’s easier to do the glow plug well on older cars as all you have to do is take of the side faring lol. Thanks for the photo I will try have a little go and see if there is an easier way to get to them eg the side faring will make a post if I decide to go ahead and do myself. I’m very familiar with them braking and warping but thanks for the head up.
