Had car serviced last week & garage reset oil life & service light. Service light came back on about 2 days later so went back & they reset it again as I watched them do it & it came back on next day, anyone experienced this after a service.

I had my Antara serviced by an independent a couple of months ago and his diagnostic equipment was out for repair so he couldn't reset the service light. He told me to bring it back if and when the light came on but so far it has not come on. It was previously serviced by a Vauxhall dealer and I thought it would have come back on either a year later or once a certain mileage had passed. Long story short, I can't be much help to you on this at the mo'

Don't get too focused on correctly re-setting the service light after a service, Kevin, there's other things that'll bring on the light like a faulty glow plug or EGR valve or even turbo boost problems. Has your car gone into limp mode since this light came on?

No never been in limp mode, still runs ok, no loss of power & no increased fuel use.

Little update on service light, it seems like number 1 injector needs changing, diagnostics machine at garage says it is at it's limit learning pressure.

Interesting development Kevin, that's the trouble with different fault codes using the service light as an indicator that something's wrong.
Just a thought, could it be anything to do with that tuning chip you fitted?

Mechanic didn't think chip had anythig to do with it Victor. Chip has been fitted several months & service light came on same time as oil life light. Injectors £350 each new less 25% service club discount so only going to replace faulty one.

£350 each less 25% sounds a great deal Kevin, especially if that's at a dealers, tbh I thought you would have to pay about double that.
