Hi all My ecu top cover that locates and locks ecu in place has gone astray somehow Does anybody know part code for this Thanks

Hello Steve and welcome to the forum. I think it will be an integral part of the ECU mounting bracket and therefore a GM / Vauxhall part. If you take a look at the Ecom catalogue item 2 you will get a part number and can go from there.

Sorry Victor called you Trevor Had a look at diagram but can't see what I'm missing On top of ecu I can see two plugs and I can lift ecu straight out of housing

Can't give you any mor info tha what's on the link, Steve. I suggest you call the Vauxhall dealer, they should be able to help you. Meanwhile I'm off on a trip for the rest of the week

Hi Steve Could poss go online and see if you can get the ECU mounting bracket from breakers poss eBay and send them a message re the bracket required If not then as Victor says will be a visit to dealers

Have had another look and everything seems to match the picture but can lift ecu out without releasing any clips Is this normal

Thanks but doesn't show if ecu is secured in bracket or just sits in bracket with no securing tabs Confused I cable tied ecu to housing Seems secure enough not to jump out Thanks all

Hi Steve Do you have the bracket that shown in the link previous as number 20 or 21/22 depending weither you have phone holder or twin cup holder as this looks like these bridge over the top of the ECU and the two top 2 fixing screws which are screwed from centre consul

It's the main ecu in engine bay beside battery

Hi Steve Must be all the meds Iam on sorry my mistake 🙏 But looking at pic of engine ECU it’s cover is screwed to battery box and looks like the ECU module is screwed to ECU holder one end and other end is screwed through the battery box as well. I’ll have a look at mine and get a couple of pics later today when removing battery make sure you have radio code as sometimes it’s needed
